A person purporting to be a college friend of Lily Jin, wife of the Chinese author Han Han, has revealed that the couple are filing for divorce and are contending for custody of their two-year-old daughter as well as over property worth more than tens of millions of yuan, according to 21CN, a portal website belonging to the China Telecom Group.

Rumors of an alleged affair between the writer and actress Zhao Zhuona have gone viral on China's major forums and microblogs. "Classmate M," who claims to have gone to college with Lily Jin, said that Han is involved with Zhao Zhuona while Jin has been seeing internet writer Dugu Yi, and the couple are officially negotiating a divorce. 　

Han and his wife have not responded to the allegations.

The online rumors say that Han and Zhao met at a dinner in March 2010. In an interview with Guangzhou's Southern Metropolitan Entertainment Weekly in March 2011, Han said, "I thank the girl who is by my side, I love her; I also miss the girl who is not by my side, I love her. It's a different kind of feeling but both have my profound love."

It is speculated that a girlfriend Han claimed to have been with from the entertainment industry may refer to Zhao.
