A group of students in Dalian recently shot their graduation photos against a unique backdrop: their school, engulfed in flames. Their photos went viral online, being forwarded 3,000 times in two hours, reports the Guangzhou Daily.

City College of Dalian University of Technology is situated next to a warehouse. On Sunday, the warehouse caught fire and the flames spread to a student dormitory nearby. The blaze was dealt with by the fire department, but many students first had the opportunity to use the burning dorm as the background for their graduation photos.

Netizen "Brent-J" posted a photo showing students posing in front of the flaming dormitory.

"It's too big of a coincidence to see the university on fire today, as it's also graduation day," said Brent-J. "The students are filled with love at seeing the school burn."

It has not been confirmed if the photo is genuine.
